Dr Calan Khong
I graduated from Monash University in 1997 and then worked in a variety of hospital positions and completed general practice training in 2010.
I enjoy learning, so I completed my acupuncture certificate with Monash University in 2012 and then completed my Chinese medicine degree in 2019 at the Southern School of Natural Therapies.
With my broad experience and education, I feel that I am well placed to assist patients in choosing an appropriate therapy, whether it is conventional medicine or more complementary in nature.
I am naturally attracted to complementary therapies, and lean towards diet, lifestyle, supplements, Chinese medicine, acupuncture and functional medicine when appropriate.
I have always been interested in talking to my patients, helping them to understand and empowering them to manage their health issues.
